The objective of these training sessions is to provide you with the theory, knowledge and practical experience to understand, specify and use Helix. You will be provided with the software used to determine equivalence between Helix and conventional rebar.
These programs are directed towards structural engineers, ready mix suppliers and concrete contractors.
These are approximately one hour long and cover the basics of using Helix as a structural fiber.
These are approximately five hours long (plus a half hour for lunch) and consists of three one hour lectures followed by a two one hour workshops where rebar projects will be analyzed and converted to Helix. These have not been held due to Covid restrictions.
The course provides 5.0 points of Continuing Professional Development for those registered with BC Housing. For lunch you will be indulged with the incredible Syrian cooking of our warehouse manager Chauki and his wife Zena.
