ESSENTIAL STEPS TO A PERFECT BROOM FINISH

1. Ensure a 1/4" of cream on surface through proper screeding and rigorous bull floating to drop the aggregate and Helix from the surface;
2. Fresno float to ensure segregation;
3. Use a light nylon broom so that there is minimal surface penetration.

This surface is free of Helix® fibers. The finishing contractor ensured that there was adequate surface cream before commencing the broom finish.
